I can't imagine a better place than this for those tired of the urban jungle. I am one of them, which is why I added it to this list. Fleur de Lys does not give the impression of an overloaded hotel with a large number of rooms. It resembles a cozy Vietnamese village, overflowing with flowers and greenery.

There are several villas with private pools, but I am going on vacation alone, so my choice is a cottage with two bedrooms. Yes, there is no option even for two people. However, the place is very cozy, surrounded by blooming trees. White walls and red tiled roofs. Everything as I dreamed. The glass sliding doors lead directly to the pool🤩 I see in the photos that staff can bring a floating breakfast there. I have always been curious to try it. And what a beautiful view of the sea opens up! Overall, the atmosphere here is peaceful, where you just want to enjoy life.

Even the smallest villa is still too big for me. I’m starting to think about whether to invite my friends on the trip. Of course, a villa with 8 bedrooms is definitely not suitable for me. Although I liked it so much! It’s a full-fledged vacation home for a large family. There is a large pool with a view, a spacious living room with a piano, and 4 bathrooms. And there is even direct access to the beach, unlike other villas. There are also swings that both adults and children will enjoy. A fully equipped kitchen will help save on the budget, as such a house is quite expensive. Although breakfast is included in the stay, did I mention that yet?

The resort is located in a quiet place, it is isolated from noise and city bustle. I can swim wherever I want. I would definitely go to the private sandy beach, there is direct access from the hotel. There is also a communal pool, which is very beautiful and large, by the way. It has different levels, a children's area, several jacuzzis, sun loungers, umbrellas, hanging hammocks around, as well as a bar. But I will spend most of my time in the pool of my villa! This way I can better relax from everything.

The surrounding nature and the cottages remind me somewhat of the series Lost. For me, this is still a mysterious place, but undoubtedly impressive. According to reviews, guests, unlike me, do not see any mystique here😁. They happily take bikes and ride around the area, enjoying the views.

I discovered a private pool in the suites. The view from them opens up to the valley and rice paddies. The area around the pool looks very attractive and relaxing. It feels like an extension of nature. It is located under the upper terrace, which means it will be protected from the rain.

The view, of course, takes your breath away. Previously in Vietnam, I only chose beach holidays and didn't know that there are such large mountains here.

On the second floor of the villa, there is a bedroom with a sturdy wooden bed with a canopy. On the spacious terrace, there are chairs from which it will be comfortable to observe the flora and fauna of Vietnam. By the way, it is also sheltered by an awning. I will be able to spend time outdoors, even if I get caught in the rain during my trip. I can already imagine how clean the air is here and how good it smells after the rain. A wooden round bath has caught my eye. Perhaps it's something traditional, I don't know. It will be curious to try lying in it. And the shower here is outdoors. It looks refreshing. I would stand under it in the morning and then head for a free breakfast.

The location of the hotel and what surrounds the resort is its distinctive feature. I often come to Vietnam for beach vacations, so I don't mind spending time inland at all. It will also be great to see how the locals live and how they harvest rice. It's cool that the staff provides free bicycles. You can take them to explore the surroundings!

I am returning to the hotel for a beach vacation, as I have not yet decided where I will stay to relax. However, this is the quiet bay of my favorite island Phu Quoc. Therefore, I will be able to combine swimming in the Gulf of Siam with exploring the wildlife of Vietnam🔥

Just the views, as far as I understand, do not overlook the sea. By the pool are lounge chairs. There are four of them, and I think it would be a good idea to invite a couple of girlfriends. And once again, I was impressed by the bathtub. This time I didn’t understand what material it is made of, but it looks luxurious. And it is located in an interesting spot. The windows are so large that I will have to draw the curtains if I come with friends. For snacks, there are several areas: outdoors and in a spacious dining room with panoramic windows.

This is a place for those who want to spend time in tranquility and seclusion. Among these people is me (I am so tired from my job)! The beach is almost deserted, as the resort is equipped with only 36 rooms. During the season, the water in the bay is like warm milk. The service is high quality: the staff will warm you up and feed you😁 Rooms are cleaned often, so everything remains clean throughout the vacation. The food is delicious and of high quality; the chef knows his craft. Furthermore, breakfast is already included in the price. I liked the privileges of a daily fruit basket. If I want to diversify my meals, there are several restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk.

I found some drawbacks of this hotel. I love when beach resorts equip their area with wooden walkways. This way, sand doesn't get into my shoes, and it also looks stylish in photos. But at the Chen Sea resort, the wooden paths need repair. I can imagine how difficult it would be for elderly people here. And here’s another drawback: the water in the bay is not always clean. Sometimes, trash floats up to the shores.
