Traveling is my passion. I spend almost every weekend on trips. And for a long vacation, I plan a memorable journey. This year, I wanted to go to the islands, and I considered many different options: Bali, the Philippines, the Maldives, the Seychelles. But now I needed something radically different from similar beach scenes, so I decided to choose Hawaii. The archipelago of this chain has more than 100 islands, only a few of which are inhabited. Some of the inhabited ones resemble real metropolises with active tourist life and skyscrapers, while others, on the contrary, look like tropical forests. I want to choose a hotel with breakfast so that I don't waste time looking for budget cafes nearby. The image galleries and prices get refreshed with the latest updates regularly. The hotel is located near the harbor, and it offers beautiful views of the pristine white yachts swaying on the waves. I think this is one of the best views you can choose.
Breakfast can be included in the room rate, served in a spacious hall with panoramic windows. An abundance of sunlight combined with morning coffee will help even those who haven't slept well to wake up. The buffet features various types of sausages and hot dogs, pastries, and plenty of fresh fruits. The highlight of the breakfast is the sandwiches with various fillings, which guests were thrilled about.
Oceanfront Harbor – my favorite among the rooms. Its area is 38 square meters, which is quite sufficient for one or two tourists. The panoramic windows offer a stunning view of the harbor. The comfortable Suite rooms in this hotel boast an area of 80 square meters. Here you have a bedroom and a living room with a beautiful view of the ocean and the harbor.
In the 100 Sails restaurant, international cuisine is served to all guests. Japanese dishes will delight you at Katsumidori Sushi Tokyo.
On one side of the hotel is Ala Moana Beach, and on the other is Fort DeRussy, just behind which begins the highly sought-after Waikiki by many tourists. A shopping center is located 15 minutes away on foot, and there are many restaurants and bars around.
Guests have access to an outdoor pool and fitness center. After a busy day, it's so nice to relax in a pleasant environment right on the hotel grounds.
In many rooms, noise from the corridor can be heard, especially guests were disturbed by the sound of the elevator doors closing. Some also complained about the old renovations in the rooms.
The incredible views from the hotel windows of the harbor were delightful. And the picturesque infinity pool — I didn't want to leave it. I also want to highlight the convenient location nearby key attractions in Honolulu.

The hotel is located in the very center of tourist life in Honolulu, not far from Waikiki Beach. Here, you will find small but very cozy and bright rooms.
Tourists say that during breakfast, the tastiest tea and coffee made from beans harvested in Hawaii are served! By the way, you can enjoy them not only at breakfast but also throughout the day. The morning menu will feature fresh pastries, local fruits, eggs, sausages, Portuguese sausage, bacon, omelets, freshly squeezed juices, and much more. Sounds very hearty!
The rooms in the hotel are small – about 20 square meters, but very cozy and stylish, with a natural Hawaiian ambiance. You can choose a room with one or two beds and a view of the ocean or the city. My choice is, of course, the ocean.
A free museum of gemstones and pearls of Hawaii is located just a few meters from the hotel. It is a 7-minute walk to the center of Waikiki Beach and its promenade. The zoo is a 10-minute walk away, and the aquarium is 20 minutes away. There is a bus stop nearby, from where you can reach the airport or the Pearl Harbor memorial.
The soundproofing of the windows leaves much to be desired – tourists can hear almost everything happening outside. The noise does not disturb my sleep, so it is not a problem for me.
Excellent location near Waikiki Beach and a bus stop. Hearty breakfasts. Tourists were especially delighted by the foldable lounge chair, which is available right in the room and can be taken to the beach.

Kauai is a small but incredibly interesting green island. Here, surrounded by astonishing mountains covered in lush forests, lies the quaint hotel The Kauai Inn.
At first glance, breakfast in these places may seem quite exotic, but not for the locals. At the buffet by the pool, you'll find plenty of fresh fruits, toast, pastries, juices, and coffee. This is where the selection ends, but it is also part of the authenticity of this hotel. I would be pleased with such a breakfast.
I want to emphasize that the views from all the rooms of the tropical forest are simply incredible. It's as if you are in a village, even though Lihue, where the hotel is located, is a full-fledged city with an airport. I liked the King Lanai room for its terrace that opens directly onto the green lawn in front of the hotel. The Soaking Tub Room with a hot tub would also be a good option.
The entire area around the hotel is a full-fledged walking zone with incredible natural views! You can reach the nearest good beach in 20-25 minutes on foot. In 5 minutes by car, you can get to the Huleia National Wildlife Refuge. The large Nāwiliwili Harbor with an observation deck is located just 10 minutes from the hotel. In 10 minutes by car, you can reach the Grove Farm sugar plantation museum, and about 12 minutes to the island museum.
I was pleased with the outdoor pool right on the hotel premises. It's convenient that in the morning you can swim right away instead of taking a long time to gather for the beach.
The sound insulation between the rooms is not very good, and their interior needs updating.
Very quiet place surrounded by incredible natural landscapes. At the same time, it is quick to get to the city center by taxi.

Hampton Inn & Suites Oahu/Kapolei — a modern hotel with a great breakfast, I would stay here more than once. It is located in the second largest city on the island of Oahu – Kapolei.
Hot breakfast is just what you need before a long day. Here you can choose from a variety of dishes: waffles, which can be made at a separate station, egg dishes, bacon, yogurts, toast, cereals, fruits, porridge, and juices. A great variety for the morning menu, you can always find something you love.
Standard rooms with an area of 30 square meters feature one large bed or two single beds, as well as a refrigerator, television, and coffee machine. It is especially pleasant that coffee can be made in your room. In the Premium category, there will also be a private living area.
Next to the hotel is the Ka Makana Aliʻi shopping center. A 10-minute drive will take you to the Wai Kai water sports and White Plains beach, as well as the Hawaii Prince golf club.
If you want to stay in shape even while traveling, head to the fitness center on the hotel premises, and then relax in the heated pool.
The decor in the rooms already looks outdated - it's time to update it. Moreover, noise is often heard from the corridor.
Guests appreciated that there is free parking on the premises – this will be very convenient for those who rent a car. A varied breakfast is also among the pleasant additions to the stay.

Maui Island — it is endless jungles, which are also — Haleakalā National Park. From the windows of the Residence Inn by Marriott Maui Wailea, there is a stunning view of it, as well as the mountains and the ocean.
Breakfast is served in a buffet style in a spacious restaurant with panoramic lighting. You can choose dishes such as eggs, cold cuts and sausages, waffles, yogurts, fruits, cereals, and various types of bread. Coffee and juice are offered as beverages.
Spacious Studio rooms with an area of 40 square meters accommodate sleeping and living areas, as well as a kitchenette. There is a private balcony with chairs and an ocean view. In the Suite, the living room with the kitchen and the bedroom are separated into two rooms, but there will be no water view here.
For a light snack at the hotel, there is a lounge bar where you can also get soft drinks.
It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the nearest Wailea beach. Along the way, you will encounter a shopping center of the same name and a golf course. By the way, stunning views of the ocean can be seen from the latter. By car, you can reach the beautiful Kealia Pond Wildlife Refuge in 20 minutes, where visitors enjoy not only the scenery but also get acquainted with wild birds. It takes about 20 minutes by taxi to reach the well-equipped Lahaina Pali nature trail. When you are on such an interesting island, you want to explore different routes.
There is a large swimming pool with sun loungers around it on the hotel grounds. If you are too lazy to go to the beach, you can relax and sunbathe here. Nearby, there is a hot tub – another great place to unwind on a hot sunny day.
Many guests were dissatisfied with the quality of cleaning due to a lack of staff. It takes at least 20 minutes to walk to the beach, which was also disappointing. However, there is a shuttle to the shopping center, which is located right near the beach.
The rooms are spacious and truly cozy, even with their own kitchen. And the views from the hotel are just beautiful.

The amazing location of this hotel deserves special attention. This is the Big Island or Hawaii, where 4 out of 5 possible climate groups coexist. While it may snow on one side of the island, people are sunbathing on the other. Fortunately, the surroundings of Holualoa Inn are predominantly sunny, and the weather is pleasantly warm.
Breakfast at the hotel becomes one of the highlights of the day for many tourists. Every day, the chefs come up with something new, and delicious dishes appear on the buffet. They use fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs grown right on the hotel grounds. On the tables, you can find dishes made from papaya, mango, apples, bananas, figs, citrus fruits, and pineapples. The menu items include omelets, pastries, sausages, and other options. It is especially noted that guests are served Kona coffee, grown in Hawaii.
The rooms are decorated in Hawaiian style, each finished with wood, and the headboards of the beds are uniquely adorned. They are named after the flowers that grow on the island. The Orchid room offers a beautiful view of the ocean, while the Ginger room has a balcony overlooking the blooming gardens. I can only imagine the incredible scent here! Usually, I choose apartments with an ocean view, but it will be hard to refuse such a lovely option.
To reach any points on the island's map, you'll need to rent a car – public transportation in these areas is not very developed, and the location is quite secluded. But, I am sure it is worth it. If you enjoy observing flowers and discovering new, unfamiliar species, you can visit the Sadie Seymour Botanical Garden. It's only an 8-minute drive. The nearest beach, White Sands, is 6 km from the hotel. If you are interested in the history of Hawaii, you can drive to Kamakahonu – the last historical residence of King Kamehameha I.
The old-fashioned decor of the rooms slightly spoils the mood. And this is not a tribute to history, but a lack of renovation. For some, this seems like a disadvantage, while for others it turns out to be a kind of charm.
The biggest plus of this amazing place is that it is surrounded by untouched nature, with incredible views all around.
Lily Anderson
The hotel is located on the island of Oahu in Honolulu, the capital of Hawaii. Its windows offer a beautiful view of the ocean, and nearby is one of the famous beaches and also the most touristy street – Waikiki Beach.
This hotel truly offers a diverse breakfast. They suggest starting at the station where they prepare the perfect egg dish to your liking. By the way, the omelets here are made with eggs from nearby farms. I enjoy trying local dishes while traveling; here I learned about fried rice, Portuguese sausage, and Dole pineapple. They also offer breakfasts from other countries, such as Japanese. A great finish will be freshly squeezed juices and coffee that you can take with you to the beach or for a morning walk.
I liked that every room has a tea corner and a coffee machine — it adds comfort to the stay. The Premium Ocean room offers a beautiful view of the ocean. There is a small pool where you can relax after long walks and swimming. The area of the rooms varies depending on the category, approximately from 39 to 69 square meters.
The hotel has a pool bar and a lounge with drinks and snacks. Outside the property, you will find many restaurants for lunch or dinner. Each evening can be spent in a new venue.
The hotel is located near Waikiki Beach, where there are many restaurants and the beautiful Kalākaua promenade along the shore. Just 200 meters away is the Hawaiian Army Museum, and the zoo is a 20-minute walk away. In your free time, you will definitely find places to go and things to see.
Next to the open heated swimming pool, there are comfortable loungers and beds with canopies. You can spend time in the hot tub, and there is a separate water complex for children.
The hotel definitely needs an update of the rooms; it would be nice if they looked fresher. It wouldn't hurt to purchase additional loungers – they are constantly in short supply by the pool.
The hotel has a very convenient location next to Waikiki Beach – a popular tourist destination. You don't need to think about transfers or search for a place to sunbathe.
