We took the HB meal plan, which was sufficient for us). During the day, we drank coffee in the room. It was hot and we weren't hungry. The beach is gorgeous, but keep in mind that the view is not of the endless sea). The sunsets are very beautiful, the water is clear and clean. We stayed in a bungalow with access to the lagoon, an excellent option, you can swim around the clock. Very beautiful subtle lighting in the evenings. The food is excellent.

avatar

We are here now. The beach is pristine, there are plenty of free sun loungers. A really great residence. There is a shuttle to Emirates Mall and it waits there. The pool - the lagoon is super. We cool off in it since the sea is +30. Dining in the restaurants at the residence is quite expensive. It's probably better to take it with meals. The staff is excellent, the clientele is normal. The girl at the reception provides all the information you need in Russian. We are living in the apartments at Nord Residence.

Good morning. We are currently resting here. Everything is nice. The food, the villa by the lagoon 👍, water is available in unlimited quantities, the service is at a high level, compliments from the hotel are a nice touch), the spa area, the water is very calm - comfortable for swimming, no jellyfish, there is a warning, we have been here for 10 days already) There is a transfer to the mall three times a day both ways. If you leave at 1 PM and return at 6 PM, there is plenty of time) There is also a transfer at 10 AM.

avatar

A very simple five-star hotel, but it's clear from the price. Overall, everything is fine. No crowds. The water is clean, lots of fish. We flew here for the second time, kids like that you end up in the pool right from the room.

We had full board. There weren't many people at lunch, they were ordering pizza, most of them had lunch on the beach, but there were enough people for dinner. The dinner was magnificent. They also have brunch one day a week (it is included in the price if you choose half board and replace dinner with this lunch or if you choose full board). People come dressed beautifully to have lunch with their families, friends, and guests from other hotels - those who are aware, there is live music playing, and there is all kinds of food - crabs, shrimps, oysters, and lots of other things. But even without brunch, the food is amazing.

Hello, how long did it take to get from Palma to the mall? After all, you have to drive through all of Palma. Are there often traffic jams in Palma?

Could you please tell me, a room in the main building, standard, for three of us, what is the area of the room, what is included? I am interested in a washing machine.

There are no washing machines in the hotel rooms. There may be a kitchen in the apartments. But there are definitely none in the standard rooms.

Washing machine (with dryer), dishwasher, and full kitchen are available in all residences. I'm not sure about the standards. Take a 1-bedroom apartment - you'll have spacious accommodation and there will be a washing machine, dishwasher, and kitchen.

You can decline the deposit, we paid by card or cash. I requested to remove the minibar as we did not plan to use it. It was never removed. Upon checkout, they only asked if we used it or not. Dining at the hotel is expensive (when comparing price and quality). There is nothing nearby.

Hello, could you please tell me what the dress code for dinners is at the hotel? I mean, do I need something very formal? And how is the dress code in the city now?

Comment

Elena
2024-10-20T12:18:49+03:00

In the main restaurant Crescendo, there is no dress code. In à la carte restaurants, people generally try to dress a bit more elegantly. And in the city, they wear whatever they want 😁. However, I believe that in the country, it is still important to try to cover shoulders, knees, and décolletage 😊.

Full board includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All drinks are free at breakfast, lunch/dinner are paid. But there is somewhere free water with lemon in the restaurant. In the Emirates, there is basically no such thing as in Turkey or Egypt... The All Inclusive system is only available at Rixos on the Palm and at the Mirage hotel (as far as I know).

In Dubai, in general, you can have a snack cheaply only probably in a big hypermarket in the evening - buy ready-made food at a discount. Well, maybe grilled chicken or shawarma… but it's definitely not on the Palm… On the Palm, there’s nothing near the hotel except for restaurants. On the premises, people order pizza for lunch right on the beach/by the pool, from the menu snacks, salads, the same fries. For many, this is acceptable… and this is considered a snack.

Elena
2024-12-24T18:49:38+03:00

Thank you very much for your response. Pizza is fine too. Do you happen to know the prices? I just want to understand if it's worth it or if it's better to take FB right away. The difference between HB and FB is significant.

You can visit the hotel website, there is a lot of information about restaurants as well as about the rooms. As for where it's better to stay - it's up to you - the main building or by the lagoon… of course, there is an option to live even better with direct access to the lagoon. Personally, we found the full board unnecessary… we ate so much at breakfast that we weren’t even hungry by lunch, we only went because it was “paid for”… let's go take a look… sometimes my husband and I were just the two of us for lunch. Dinner can always be changed to lunch and you can go somewhere in the evening… but it is all individual of course - it's up to you to decide how often you need to eat.

Ask the porter to call a taxi 🚕 if you don't have the app. They always offer to call one themselves. If you don't want a Lexus, ask for a "normal taxi" - they will call without any problems.

Taxis are usually located outside the hotel. When you go out, you say "taxi," and the staff will call them and let them in – it's a regular city taxi.

Drinks are free only at breakfast - tea, coffee, fresh juices; for lunch and dinner, yes, they are chargeable, but as far as I remember, there are free ones like lemon water and maybe juice. We were there without children, so I don't remember exactly. That's how they operate and offer, that's why deposits are convenient for this, they are deducted from the room.
