The room is big, with a view of the lawn and palm trees. If you look closely through the palms, you can see the sandy pool))) but we’re not fighting for the view; we’re completely satisfied. The hotel is overall not bad. The rain tired us out during the 10 days. Even though it's warm and so on, constant rain 24/7 is not interesting at all, and it’s not just for 15 minutes. Filming on October 20.

We are here for 6 days, we arrived with a little rain, then it was sunny and cloudy for 5 days, one or two times something drizzled and that's all. Today it's been raining like from a bucket for half a day and then just overcast. Therefore, it's very difficult to predict; the weather forecast lies 80% of the time as far as I tracked. The hotel is very decent, quiet, calm, comfortable, not many people, there is always somewhere to eat, there is even Russian cuisine, the place is called "At Boris's", to the left of the exit, and it's a 10-minute walk, you have to go a little uphill. The Banana Beach is a 5-minute taxi ride away, the descent is steep, the entry into the sea is dangerous, rocky, and depth starts suddenly, definitely not for children, the waves were the same as on our beach. The Elephant Farm is a 20-minute walk from the hotel, 2200 for adult tickets, 1700 for children aged 4-12. This includes a bucket of food for the elephants, applying clay to the elephants, and then a shower with the elephants. Just feeding them is cheaper. If you take the package with washing the elephants, put on swimsuits right away and bring dry clothes with you. There is a shower, towels are provided, and you can change there. There is also a souvenir shop, but nothing special there, everything is the same as what you can find opposite the hotel in souvenir shops, just more expensive - in my opinion.

You can enjoy delicious cocktails as well as wine and strong drinks. The cocktails are also tasty.

Rooms are great. The towels keep sunbathing on the sun loungers. The Superior Room (upgraded room with a pool view) is 8,000 rubles more expensive, personally I think the money is well spent. The internet in the room is decent. The internet on the balcony is a bit shaky (sometimes it's there, sometimes not). We read in reviews about meager breakfasts and lack of something. We came for breakfast around 8:30-9:00, there is plenty to eat - juices, porridge, meat, potatoes, pasta, rice. What we didn't find though, is sweet pastries to go with tea/coffee.

We came here to wait out Songkran for a couple of days, but it turns out we overdid it – it's so boring here that you want to howl 🤣 In short, we overdid it, usually during Songkran there are programs in hotels, foam parties, bubbles, but here you can die of boredom. In a word, this is a vacation for retirees. Hotel-Sea-Hotel. Quiet and boring, not much around, and to go somewhere it takes a lot of time, far from everything. There are a couple of cafes and shops nearby, but it feels somewhat sad here. If you love absolute silence, then this is the place for you, although not necessarily... Yesterday some family had a drunken argument about where to go, so silence is not guaranteed. Actually, I came here after seeing videos on social media, but as they say, expectation versus reality. Everything is not bad, but I wouldn't come back, it's not worth the money they ask for. Kids riding bikes run you over. Parents shout at their children, drunk Russians argue among themselves and shout at their kids. They argue over breakfast spots and pancakes, over the pancake queue, they push and grab food, pour juices and water into bottles. People sunbathe on the pool lounge chairs. Tranquility and peace, well, not guaranteed))) The second pool with sand is significantly calmer. At the pool with sand, there are bags lying around at the entrance, not covered with sand, apparently people drag them with their feet, the staff can't clean up in time, it's even like a warning, there are holes under them, a child's foot can easily slip in, so pay attention to your children. In some places, the water in the pool looks like in the photos. In 5 days, I didn't see them clean the pool. The ants seem to like it there, they crawl all over the building.

In Thailand for the first time, we've been to many places and seen a lot of beaches. No sunbeds (well, that's okay) and umbrellas!!! Very inconvenient!!! It gets tiresome running after shade, and after lunch, there's hardly any at all! I definitely wouldn't go with kids. We stayed at the hotel at the end of April this year. Overall, it's a decent 4-star hotel with a Russian focus. The food at the hotel is average, more like a 3-star. Breakfasts are weak but acceptable. On the first day, we arrived very late and had shrimp, Tom Yum soup, mussels, and calamari. It wasn't great, a bit bland. It seems to cater to those who don't like spicy Thai sauces. It's better to eat outside the hotel. The cafes further to the left of the hotel (when facing the sea) are cheaper. The ones closer to the hotel are up to 1.5 times more expensive. You can find delicious fruits and fresh juices near the hotel. The sea had big waves but was clean. We usually swim past the waves, but one day the wave suddenly became much higher, and our whole family barely made it out. We enjoy waves, but the sea had a powerful undertow that we hadn't encountered anywhere else. For example, we swim in bigger waves in Goa. So, it was a lesson learned, we won't go in again. I don't recommend for families to stay on this beach during wave season. The pools are decent, and there were always enough sun loungers for us. The area between the buildings and the beach has a sandy appearance, but underneath the sand, there is a tarp covering the pools, which can be uncomfortable. I preferred the pool closer to the sea. The water in April was very warm, around 34 degrees Celsius, like a bath. Not very pleasant. We got around using Bolt taxis, which were twice as cheap as regular taxis. There is only one money exchange place, and at that time, the exchange rate was the best and matched the rate at Karon. In other places we visited during our trip, like Khao Lak and Krabi, the rate was much worse.
