According to Conde Nast Traveller, the five-star Conrad Seoul is recognized as the best hotel in South Korea. I believe that the level of service will be corresponding. Of course, the description primarily talks about the view from it, but I would like to mention that separately. A good package of wellness and spa services is offered to guests - special emphasis is placed on these treatments. But for active guests, there is also mini-golf - maybe my boyfriend and I will try our hand at it. And what I will definitely take advantage of is the indoor pool; I'm always cold to swim outdoors, and this indoor option is just a lifesaver for me. My boyfriend checked the maps and found several parks and museums nearby that can be quickly reached on foot. Excellent location and spa services really attract me to this hotel!

Of course, the wonderful view is what we would primarily go to this place for. The hotel complex is located in the center of the Yeouido district with a view of the Han River. I like that Conrad Seoul has several lounge areas and dining rooms where you can see part of the river. It's pleasant to relax with coffee or have lunch with such a beautiful view, just like in the room. But the main thing, yes, is the view of the river from your own bedroom. The windows here are specifically huge for this purpose, and the rooms face directly onto the river and the city around it. The sight is very beautiful and definitely deserves to stay here!

At first, I was scared and thought that the room with the river outside the window was just one type - it just looked very ordinary, and I didn't see any romance in it. But then I found a premium room on the website and realized that it was made for our couple. And it's not about the size; it's the same area as the standard one, but it is designed much more nicely. There’s a large double bed right in front of the window, and there’s a spacious guest corner with a small sofa - it will be comfortable to watch the river from there in the evenings. And in this room, I really liked the bathroom with a small window; it makes it feel brighter. Among the nice additional amenities, we will definitely use the mini-bar or the coffee maker! And oh my God, I discovered an even larger room with a river view even in the bathroom - it is very expensive and doesn’t differ in amenities, but what a beautiful view there is from all sides!🤩

Wow, the hotel has a total of 4 restaurants! It was worth expecting this, as there are many dining halls for lunch and dinner in the photographs; there are more romantic places with luxurious tables, and there are very simple halls that I think are intended for breakfast. By the way, they are an additional charge when booking a room, and then we can go there every day. In my opinion, it's better to pay a little extra upfront, so we can eat for free the whole vacation. What is especially praised here is definitely the breakfasts, but I am also sure that they will be delicious, as there is a huge hall with a buffet and there is just about everything: hot dishes, fruits, cold cuts, and even local unusual food. My boyfriend and I plan to try everything during our vacation! The restaurants serve different cuisines; I would prefer Italian, while my boyfriend loves grill and barbecue more.

JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul is located in a completely different area of Seoul, and that's its advantage; it means the view here will be uniquely good and entirely different. The most convenient thing is that near the hotel, there are metro exits 8 and 9 of Dongdaemun - this is a great opportunity to visit some places that won't be nearby. This hotel offers the largest selection of services, also dedicated to the spa; apparently, in Korea, they really want their guests and tourists to fully relax and feel comfortable. Banquet and conference halls can be organized for any requests. But what we especially liked is that there is a bike rental and even concerts with live music. You can arrange your own excursions and listen to good music in the evening - my boyfriend and I approve of that!

At first, I thought that this hotel might only have a good view of the city, but then in the room description, I saw the note "view of the landmark" and realized that there is indeed a unique view of the Dongdaemun structure. This historic monument is the restored gate of the former fortress wall. The architectural structure is many years old, and it features traditional elements of Korean culture. Importantly, the view of this wonder is available from the reception desk, the breakfast hall, and also from the room, which has almost floor-to-ceiling windows. It's convenient that the gate is right across the street, allowing for a detailed view, which is why we appreciated this hotel.

I saw that even in the deluxe room there is a nice view of the landmark we need, but the room itself is very simple, with no excess furniture and small. However, there is a special part of the view that overlooks these ancient gates. The windows even extend to part of the ceiling, which opens up a magical panorama for viewing. And also, it turns out that such a room offers access to the executive lounge. I have heard about such a system in some places, but I have never used it. It includes separate delicious breakfasts, cocktail time, and additional drinks throughout the day. I think my boyfriend and I will try this! The room has a refrigerator, a mini-bar, and even a table right by the windows where you can have a snack. In the bathroom, sets of slippers and bathrobes are waiting!

In addition to being able to enjoy various delicious drinks all day thanks to the executive lounge, the hotel offers room service breakfast from the menu. I would take advantage of this opportunity, sitting at that table by the large windows and eating with a beautiful view. And in this place, the number of restaurants surprised me — there are five. Most often, we will order international cuisine, but maybe we will also stop by the steakhouse! It's convenient that this hotel has a coffee shop, where you can grab coffee/tea and snacks to take with you on a walk or excursion.

Yes, the five-star hotels in Seoul pleasantly surprise me with how they arrange restaurants, rooms, and, of course, the panoramic views they offer. One of them is the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul. It is just a few steps away from Gwanghwamun Plaza – as we later learned, this significantly contributes to its beautiful view from the windows. I found out that there is a private indoor golf pavilion, which can be used by both professionals and beginners. I already told my boyfriend that we will definitely participate in this. On the upper floors, there are various types of saunas (wet and dry), as well as a bathhouse. The staff offers a pub tour – fun and unusual, we will definitely go. But even more, I would like to visit an art exhibition here with artistic displays. This hotel is becoming my favorite because of such a large number of entertainment options. 

In this hotel, I was not chasing to see any particular landmark, but in the description, we immediately saw that the view from the windows overlooks the historic center of Seoul. And I realized that watching the beautiful, modern, and simultaneously ancient city from the higher floors would be very cool. Especially, it seems to me, the glass buildings look incredibly beautiful in the evening along with the lanterns and lighting. It was precisely for the good panorama of the city view that we appreciated this accommodation option.

Among the obvious advantages — almost any room with a view of the city, just different parts of it. This is good news for those planning a budget trip or, on the contrary, the most luxurious one (we lean towards the second option). There is also a system with club rooms, where additional services are available to guests, but I was not as interested in that when I saw the family type room and the executive suites. They look like whole apartments, with floor-to-ceiling windows on very high floors. There are large living areas, whirlpool baths, and these rooms are also hypoallergenic. The decor is quite modern and stylish. 

If we take a representative suite, we will enjoy breakfast in a buffet format for free — how wonderful! Five restaurants for lunch and dinner offer Japanese, Chinese, Asian, Italian, and generally international cuisine. There is a very large selection, so I will definitely try something new. Of course, the prices in the restaurant are not small, but you can expect that from a high-class five-star hotel. And due to the large size, it can get quite crowded in the dining halls. But I think we won't pay much attention to that when we have such a variety of food in front of us😁

If we choose to stay at The Westin Josun Seoul, we will explore another area of Seoul that doesn't overlap with any of the previous options. The hotel is located in the Myeongdong area - it is popular among both locals and tourists. This is because there are art museums, palace complexes nearby, and most importantly - a variety of public transportation options. The Namdaemun market is a seven-minute walk away, and we will definitely go to see what is sold at the local market stalls. In the hotel, there is a spa with saunas and massages, and also a swimming pool. We didn't find any special services, but they do offer transfers not only to/from the airport, but also to various points in the area. Very convenient, because we want to visit many places.

Actually, I chose this hotel more than my boyfriend did. At first, he didn't notice that there was some special view here, but as soon as he found out about the park nearby, he realized that it could be great. I love nature, and I like how modern buildings are trying to connect with parks and green corners of the city. In this hotel, there is an opportunity not only to look at the city, but also to see its combination with trees right from the windows of your room! Especially if you take a lower floor, the branches with leaves will almost reach the room - it's so cool!

In the junior suite, the trees are visible, but not as well as in the executive room, here it's literally all greenery in front of the big window in the bedroom. However, in the room, there are twin beds; I hope there is the same one, just with a double bed. In Korea, they know about their beautiful views; I have noticed more than once that there is a sofa or some armchairs in front of the window to make it more comfortable to enjoy the scenery. In this room, there is quite a large workspace with a desk. Reviews also mention very good daily cleaning — for me, this indicates a high level of service. 

In the hotel restaurant, they serve international and French cuisine, and you can try Cantonese at Hong Yeon. Of course, we will have both French and Cantonese dishes, but it's better to start with what we are used to. There is also a happy hour service - it can be paid for in advance, and at a certain time we can get extra snacks and drinks. But I think we can do without it, just go to the café, for example. If we come back late from excursions or, on the contrary, want to spend the whole day in the room, we will order delivery of food and drinks.

Signiel Seoul looks like a skyscraper, and just by this, one can understand that there will be good panoramic views. Near the hotel, there is the Jamsil subway station (it connects lines 2 and 8). There is a train station nearby — we need to check where the trains go, and perhaps we will go somewhere. The hotel itself doesn't have many additional services, there is an option to relax in the spa and go to the sauna, but that's probably all. It's great that there is a transfer for excursions and personal trips, but I would like to see at least a couple more entertainment options here.

At first, we thought that the hotel only had a view of the river, and we were already about to get disappointed, but no, it turned out to be much better! There is a panoramic view with a view of the small Lake Sokchon around a small park, and on one side of the lake, there is even an amusement park that will also be visible. We really liked that the view combines the city, nature, water, and even a charming amusement park, where you can drop by out of curiosity!

The only downside is that we couldn't fully figure out which rooms overlook the lake. Because there are accommodation options with views only of the city or the river, which is on the opposite side of the lake. But judging by the photos, to see the lake with the amusement park island, you need to stay in a "premier" room, and the super suites also seem to overlook the park and the lake. Of course, we would prefer to take a higher class room, it's larger and has its own jacuzzi – no need to go to the spa! Also, we can make coffee ourselves or use the mini-bar. The super suites are located on floors 88 to 102. I can’t even imagine what a beautiful view it must be!

One of the hotel restaurants even received a Michelin star, serving Korean cuisine for lunch and dinner. Since it has such a high rating, we will definitely try a few items there. The restaurant with French cuisine has three Michelin stars - here you can also sample exquisite dishes. But I think that for each day a coffee shop or nearby café-bar close to the hotel will suit us better. Breakfast is served from six to ten in the morning (we love to get up early, so we will have time to enjoy a nice meal even in the morning) in a very beautiful hall.
