I want to start the story with this wonderful five-star hotel. It is located 2 km from the center of Lisbon, next to the Marquess of Pombal Square and a large shopping center. I appreciated this hotel for its great sunbathing terrace and a huge swimming pool. After all, we are going in the summer and will be able to enjoy them to the fullest! We always try to combine the pleasant with the useful.

Since our trip is planned for the summer, of course, we decided to take a walk as a family if the opportunity arises. This hotel is located two kilometers from the clinic, so we can afford 30-minute morning walks. Moreover, along the way, we will pass the magnificent Marquis de Pombal Square and Edward VII Park, the Lisbon Museum. So it turns into a whole excursion. Cool! Well, if the weather catches us off guard – and in Portugal, this is a frequent occurrence, we can take the 783 bus. The stop is just a minute's walk from the hotel, and in 12 minutes we will be there.

As it turned out, this hotel has two swimming pools. One is on the terrace above, where you can swim and sunbathe. And the second is located in the spa area. It is heated, and there is a zone with a jacuzzi. Very cool! And there's such an interesting design: lots of plants and flowers, which is unusual for a spa. I like it. Oh, my husband won't stray from his daily routine, and 100% every morning he will go to the gym. There are also babysitting services and a children's corner. If my son gets too bored with us, we know what to do. Judging by the reviews, children are quite happy, just like their parents. 

Also, I liked that there is a wonderful green garden here. In the evening, of course, we won't go for a walk in the dark, but stepping out into the garden to breathe in the fresh air is a great idea. Overall, I am very satisfied with what this hotel offers. There certainly won't be a dull moment. I think we'll manage to spend a few days at the resort, which is important for us. Because we always find it very difficult to endure all these examinations.

The restaurant in this hotel is a separate kind of art; here they manage to combine continental, English, Irish, and Swedish cuisines, all presented in a buffet format. It looks very unusual, you can act as your own chef and take whatever you want in one plate. My son will definitely do that. However, for lunch, you can order from the menu here, and, you know, it's very diverse. Seafood is highly recommended – oysters, tuna, and mussels. And I am sure we will like it. Also, throughout the day, the lobby bar operates, serving delicious desserts, coffee, juices, and alcohol.

I fell in love with this place at first sight when I saw the photo from the panoramic pool. It offers a view of the sea and the cozy roofs of Lisbon. It's so romantic. We will be putting the little one to bed and sneaking out for a date under the starry sky, enjoying the city's panorama. And there is also a fabulous restaurant with an incredible design and a cool chef.

This hotel is located 2.5 km from our clinic, which might actually be quite tense for a morning walk. We will have to walk for 38 minutes, of course, most of it will be through the park and the central square, but I think my guys will get tired and definitely won't agree to walk like that every day. But no worries, we can rent bikes at the reception and be there in 15 minutes. I checked the maps: it should be a quite comfortable ride. Or, as a last resort, we can call a taxi and get there in 9 minutes. However, we are not considering public transport because it makes me feel nauseous.

As I already said, this hotel has a wonderful panoramic terrace on the roof, a lounge area, an outdoor pool, a sunbathing area, and there is even a place for dancing in the evenings. There are sometimes nice parties there, and I hope we get to attend them. There is also a sauna open, which I will be visiting. I really love to relax in the evenings - it calms me down. And there is a conference room here as well. Yes, my husband will be coming with his laptop and will probably be working occasionally. Well, the main thing is that there are all the necessary conditions for him here. We are thinking about renting a car to explore the city on our own. They can offer us that here, and we need to check the options available. I want a white convertible😁

I carefully studied all the accommodation options in this hotel and settled on the super suite. Yes, it will suit us perfectly. On 60 sq. m, there is a bedroom with a luxurious King Size bed. There is also a living room, where we can put our baby to sleep. Here, there is a spacious comfortable bathroom, where I can bathe him in the evenings. And, of course, there is an entrance hall, where all our suitcases will fit. I also consider it important that there is a coffee machine, so I can start the morning right! I would also like to highlight the panoramic windows with a city view. If this is important to you too, I recommend getting a higher floor.

And here is another great five-star hotel that suits us in terms of location. It is located in the center of Lisbon. I noted it for the luxurious balconies in each room. And finally, we will be fed Portuguese cuisine. There is a special weekend program for adults that caught my interest. I hope we will have a chance to escape and relax together a bit.

This hotel is also located 2.5 km from our medical center. According to the maps, we will need to walk a couple of avenues and the central square, and our walk will take about half an hour — probably tolerable. But just in case, I found out about the taxi, which takes about 8 minutes. That's quick, and it works for us.

And on the roof of this hotel, something unreal is happening! Can you imagine, they've made a running track here! It's so cool. While I sleep, my husband will definitely go to work out. There's also a cool pool with a chill-out area where parties are held. There is an indoor pool, a SPA area, where finally I will get a great chocolate wrap. Unfortunately, we don't have that in our city. Also, there is a fabulous restaurant and a conference room that my husband really needs. I also read that you can go to Pilates here. It would be interesting to try it, considering we're going for three weeks, maybe I will get to it.

This is a very large hotel, and there are rooms for every taste and budget. But for our family, we chose a "Grand" category suite. We can all fit in together, and it will be more than comfortable for us: the room is simply huge! Over 100 square meters. An incredibly large bedroom, which has a walk-in closet and a relaxation area, in the second room there is a crib for the baby, a sofa, a table, an armchair, and even a home theater. I especially appreciated the huge bathroom with two sinks. This means that we can all gather at the same time. A luxurious bathtub, a shower cabin – everything in marble. And very beautiful, there are also panoramic windows with a lovely view and a balcony overlooking the city.

And this hotel is located close to all the main attractions of the city, which we will get to know at the first opportunity. Most of the rooms overlook the park, which I liked very much. Reviews also mention large hearty breakfasts and an incredibly cool Lounge BAR, which I hope to visit.

The hotel is located two kilometers from our hospital. We will spend about 25 minutes on the way. The road passes through Edward VII Park and the Lisbon Museum. Overall, the route is very easy and even pleasant, with a lot of greenery around. We might take a walk a couple of times. But I don't think it will be on a regular basis, and on the third time, my son will definitely throw a tantrum. We will use taxi services, which will take us there in 5 minutes.

You know, it's very rare to find a hotel where all the tourists speak well of the staff. Everyone notes that they are very customer-oriented, always ready to help, polite, and empathetic. It's very nice, especially since I'm traveling with a small child. I also read that they can bring food right to the room. And not just some snacks, but a full menu. Even steak. That's great! I will be very happy about it. 

Here, as in previous options, there is a rooftop terrace. The views from there are very beautiful! You can lie on the sun loungers and take in the panoramic view of the city. It's very lovely. There is also a well-equipped gym. The Wi-Fi signal is good throughout the property, which is a big plus for us. 

In the mornings, they serve American or continental breakfast. Moreover, for those of us who are in a hurry, it is possible to pre-order for a specific time. I think 8 AM would be just right. As for dinner, you can have something light, such as Mediterranean or Portuguese cuisine - they usually have a lot of seafood and cheese. And finally, I made it to the bar: they have a good wine list, and as you know, the wine in Portugal is excellent. We should order a tasting from them on some weekend.

This five-star hotel is located in a quieter area. Yes, it's 10 minutes from the center, but it's quiet here, so I will consider it first. And it is very close to our medical center. A few kilometers from here is the St. George Castle. I looked at the photos, and it is simply magnificent. We definitely need to visit it!

Only 700 meters to the medical center where we will undergo the examination. This works for us! I don’t think we will need either a taxi or bikes here. After all, we can easily cover such a distance on foot. I had almost lost hope that we would find an option closer than two kilometers.

There are not many floors in this hotel. And that's really nice because all the previous ones were just huge. No need to wait for the elevator, and everything is very compact and cozy. Downstairs, there is a huge relaxation area. In the garden, there is a large pool with a sunbathing area, and there is also a separate children's pool. And the cherry on top is the jacuzzi pool.

I should also mention that there is a piano here. There are also many conference rooms; I hope my husband doesn't bring a delegation here, but you might find this information interesting.

There are three restaurants in the hotel, which is a record so far among all the options in the selection. One serves a breakfast buffet, where you can find fresh tropical fruits, baked goods, eggs, cereals, cocoa, coffee, and juice. I think you can find favorite products here. The second one operates for lunch, and it mainly serves international cuisine from the menu, but if you dig a little deeper, you can find traditional Portuguese recipes. I read reviews that it is especially good here. I definitely need to try it. There is also a club bar where you can get snacks, sandwiches, burgers, fries, and various salads.

And this option is located in the city center, but on the other side of Edward VII Park. It is quieter here. When there is a choice, I always focus on quiet places, because waking up to the sounds of the city is not the best way. I liked this hotel for its concept of attention to children. There is a large children's room, many entertainers, and nannies. My son will truly appreciate this because after three weeks he will be tired of us.

The hotel is literally one kilometer from our medical center. I looked it up, we will need to walk two blocks and cross the street twice. It's suitable for us. We will be on the way for about 18 minutes. We will walk a couple of times, and then, possibly, we will try to take a taxi. Then we will get there very quickly, in just 4 minutes. Or, as an option, we can use the hotel shuttle.

I studied the rooms for a long time and found a suite measuring 40 sq. m. Given that we only have a bedroom in our house of that size, we need to think carefully about whether it will be cramped for us. The room has a double bed and 1 sofa bed. I don't know how my son will react to this. It might be quite a problem. The positives are the presence of two sinks, because ironically, we all will go to wash up at the same time, and the beautiful view of the garden from the window.

In the morning, they serve an early breakfast here. This is very important because if we eat at 8, like in all previous options, we might be a little late. But here the hall opens at 7 in the morning, and that's great; we can go out early and take a leisurely walk. Guests are offered a buffet where they can create any breakfast option for themselves. I, for example, love rice porridge, sweet cereal in milk, a boiled egg, and some vegetables – all of this is available here. But the main thing is – coffee. Freshly brewed – that's a guarantee of a good day for me. It's also possible to have dinner in the restaurant. They highlight the very tasty regional cuisine that is localized only in Lisbon. The reviews are just unreal. It's definitely something to take note of.

This hotel is located 20 minutes from the Lisbon Zoo. Our son really wants to go there. We will definitely take a stroll there on the nearest weekend. I also noted for myself that there is a very cool spa and a rooftop restaurant with a beautiful view.

This hotel is located one kilometer from our medical center, where we will undergo examination. At first, it seems that it's not far and it only takes about 15 minutes to walk. But I checked the route, and we will have to walk along a busy avenue, crossing a square. And this is all early in the morning, when people are heading to work and the city comes alive. We could take a taxi and get there in 4 minutes. Probably, this will be the best option in such a situation.

I will tell you about the spa salon. Here there is everything: cosmetic procedures, massages, wraps, and scrubs. You can visit a cosmetologist and arrange personalized programs. It’s simply a paradise for women! I also noted that you can rent a car or a bicycle here - that’s our thing. I'm not sure we'll explore the city on foot. And of course, what hotel in Lisbon would be complete without a pool - here it is on the roof with a panoramic view and sun umbrellas.

All the dining here revolves around Portuguese cuisine, which is very pleasant because we are not familiar with it at all, but we plan to fully immerse ourselves in it. We need to distract ourselves from the hospital walls somehow. Breakfast is served in a buffet format. You can also order it to the room. They offer a more or less familiar selection of dishes: you can find porridge, omelets, cottage cheese, and pancakes. For lunch, I would snack on tapas in the Portuguese style, and if we need a full meal, there is a wide selection of national dishes. I think the waiters will suggest to us what to try first. For dinner, of course, it's seafood, which I can't wait to try!
