Overall, the hotel was enjoyable. It was my fifth time in Turkey. The service and cuisine were at an appropriate level, and the waiters were very friendly and helpful. The food was satisfying, you won't go hungry. The room was decent, with good housekeeping and a charming view from the balcony! The beach is located near the hotel, and both the sea and the beach are clean. It's very comfortable to enter the sea without rocks. Non-alcoholic drinks are complimentary for hotel guests. The wine, beer, and gin were of good quality and we liked them. In the evening, there was a children's disco and there were also dances for adults. Thank you, Turkey, for the warm welcome. We will be back!

I initially chose hotels based on good reviews and affordability. This hotel lived up to my expectations and even exceeded them in some aspects. It was my first time in Alanya, and the long journey from the airport was the most significant downside for me. The hotel was second to last on the list after visiting 6-7 other hotels. The tour operator Sanmar did not even provide water on the bus, so it's better to arrange for that in advance. Check-in was quick, although I arrived around 12 o'clock. My room, located on the third floor, had an old renovation. From talking to other tourists, I learned that there were rooms with newer renovations above the third floor. However, my room was clean. After reading reviews about dirtiness, the first thing I did was wipe surfaces, but there was no dust anywhere, not even on the balcony. Yes, the furniture was worn out, and the bathroom was old and narrow, but its size was normal. The bed was clean, and so were the towels. Cleaning service was provided every day. They placed a 1.5-liter bottle of water, soap, shampoo, and shower gel in the room every day. There was nowhere to hang clothes on the balcony except for the rails and plastic chairs. The menu in the restaurant suited me, there was always something to choose from, and the dishes changed. Compared to a 4-star hotel in Side, there was more variety here. The sea was very close, a 3-minute walk through an underground passage. On the first day, the sea was stormy, and it was impossible to swim due to the slippery tiles around. But the rest of the days were great. Early in the morning, when there were very few people on the beach, was the best time. The sea was calm and clean. Around 1 o'clock, more people would gather, and it would get crowded in the small area between the tiles, where you could only stand and splash. For those who can swim well, there are no problems, as people mostly gather closer to the shore. The hotel is conveniently located, with a public transportation stop just 1 minute away. Buses to the center of Alanya and all the tourist spots run frequently. There are also grocery stores within walking distance, albeit relatively far. For those who do not like walking, you can take a few stops to Mahmutlar, where there are more people, cafes, and shops. Yes, some people were upset that the hotel was old, the loungers were old, and even the sand was not ideal as it stuck to their feet. But if you choose one of the cheapest hotels, perhaps it's worth lowering your expectations a little. It is still a decent hotel within this price range.

I stayed at SUNSHINE 4* in August with my 17 and 12-year-old sons for THREE weeks. We had been to Turkey about five times before, but this summer we were looking for a longer vacation with a direct flight and at a reasonable price. I was very worried because of a negative review that came up a couple of days before our departure. But the choice was made. And, honestly, we didn't regret it at all. We immediately clicked with the company, we had fun and it was interesting. We sang karaoke, learned Turkish dances, watched fire shows and belly dancing, and even went to a disco from the hotel (1$ for the transfer, drinks were on our own account). For children, there was a mini disco in the evening. The majority of vacationers were mostly Turks, Russians, and Germans. The location of the hotel, personally for us, was convenient. It was quiet and peaceful around. Minibuses run to both Alanya and Mahmutlar for 18 lire per person. If you go to the fortress in Alanya, the funicular there and back costs 24 lire per person. For those who like to take a walk or jog, there is a promenade along the sea just across the road in both directions for tens of kilometers, paved with tiles. I really liked the beach! The coolest thing for me was that there was no one on the left and right sides of our hotel's sun loungers, only the empty loungers of neighboring hotels were visible. It gives a sense of seclusion, especially if you come in the morning. The beach is wide, sandy, and you can walk along the shore for long distances in both directions. The sea is turquoise and transparent. The entrance to the sea is good, the water is excellent. The water was very warm, everyone just hung out in the water and made friends there. If you have masks, you can see schools of fish swimming right there. The pool was great, big and deep (you can dive in peacefully), with warm water, and there is a small pool for children right there. There was no shortage of sun loungers, both by the pool and on the beach, there was enough space for everyone. I would like to note that I liked the hotel staff, they were friendly and it was evident that they were trying their best. The rooms were all identical, like the hotel itself, not new, but they were cleaned and the towels were changed every day. I liked the balconies, they were designed in such a way that they all had a sea view, and when you sit on the balcony, you are not visible to anyone (except for those who go to the pool). The food was good, it was enough for us, we even overate. For breakfast, there were scrambled eggs or omelets, pancakes, sausages, olives, pickles, greens, vegetables, cheese, very tasty pastries, several types of jam, honey, and I really liked the coffee. Lunch and dinner consisted of pureed soups, chicken or turkey cooked differently each time and very tasty, fish like mackerel, offal, baked and fresh vegetables, rice or mashed potatoes, various grains, lots of greens, pickles, sauces, and sweets. There was a snack by the pool from 3 pm to 5 pm - nuggets or meatballs with spaghetti, or pizza for a feast. Sweets by the pool from 5 pm to 6 pm - cakes, various cookies. (By the way, when we were going to the airport, I heard vacationers from 5-star hotels complaining that there were lines for food and that there was not enough food.) Here I have never seen crowds, everything is calm, even towards the end of lunch or dinner, there is always food available. We had a great vacation, everyone is satisfied, and we have very pleasant memories of it!

I stayed alone at the Sunshine hotel in September 223. I didn't have high expectations for this hotel and I was aware that it wasn't a "wow" place. My priority was simply to relax peacefully by the sea. Let me start from the beginning: 1. Upon arrival, I was assigned a room on the second floor. It had a view of the bazaar (which comes on Wednesdays) and a piece of the mountain. To say that I was very disappointed with the quality of the room would be an understatement, despite preparing myself for an economy accommodation. The room was in poor condition, with worn-out carpeting, a bathroom that was difficult to stand in, and an air conditioner barely functioning. I suggest airing out the cabinets before placing clothes in them. I would rate the room 2/1. Feeling upset, I went to the reception to request a room change. The administrator (who appeared to be from Kazakhstan) offered to move me to the fifth floor where a couple was staying. I asked the administrator to change my room (from the second floor to the fifth), to which she replied that the upper floors were closed. When I asked how she managed to assign the fifth floor to the couple, she said they would be moved out when their turn came. Later in the evening, there was a change in administrators. I decided to try my luck and approached the second administrator. He offered to change my room for $4 and informed me that rooms were not actually closed off. I declined. A Russian-speaking Turkish man approached me near the pool after a brief conversation, it became clear that he was the hotel manager. He moved me to a room on the fifth floor. However, he seemed to think that I owed him something in return, and that I would spend my entire vacation in his company. As a result, I had to move from the 5th floor to the 2nd floor, but to a different room, at 1 AM. In the end, I stayed in 3 different rooms in this hotel. The rooms on the 5th floor were somewhat decent. The experience was terrible. Young girls and women, if a Turkish man named Denis (age 4-45, overweight) starts speaking to you in Russian, I advise you not to engage with him. 2. Food 2/1 You won't go hungry, but for me, the food was only 7% tasty. For the first time on vacation, I actually lost weight. If you've had experience with good hotels offering diverse menus, you will find this one to be quite limited. At the bar, they serve raki, tequila, vodka, and wine until 11 pm for free, but after that, it costs 5 lira. At the beach, only soda and juices are available. Mad respect to a guy named Issac at the beach bar, he was very friendly. 3. Beach 7/1 I liked the beach. It had sand and pebbles. The sunbeds and loungers were worn out but usable. The sea entrance had a depth of 5-1 meters, with slabs on the edges. If there are a lot of people, it can get crowded. The water was very warm and clean. The hotel also had a pool, which looked nice. 4. Surroundings 5/1 There's almost nothing around the hotel. I went to Alanya (1 bus ride) and visited the Mahmutlar area. 5. Entertainment 1/1 There is simply no entertainment in the hotel, or at least, not good entertainment. They briefly have karaoke and a 3-minute disco. That's it. 6. Hotel Guests Mostly foreigners (Germans, Turks, Latvians) and Russians. Conclusion: I won't be returning to this hotel. It looks very sad and the staff (manager and administrators) are terrible people. Overall, my vacation experience was very good, but only because I managed to fill it with vibrant memories. I spent a lot of time in Alanya and at the sea, going on excursions. I had minimal time in the hotel. If you prefer a hotel-centric vacation, I do not recommend this hotel.

Accommodation We arrived at night. We were checked in and fed. After a long flight and transfer, it was very nice and we are thankful to the staff. We had a one-bedroom Standard room for our family of four. For an additional fee, we were offered a larger room with an extra room. Both rooms had a sea view (the two-bedroom room was a corner room, so the view was better there). Room Cleaning The room was cleaned every day. If we left a tip, they made towel swans and changed the bed linen. In other reviews, we read that the shower curtain was scary. That is true. But the bath itself was clean. Generally, the rooms are a bit worn out, but they are maintained in good condition: everything is clean and neat. The staff solves issues promptly. Our hairdryer burnt out. We reported it to the reception. After an hour, the manager and technician came. They replaced the hairdryer with a new one. Everything was done very politely and free of charge. Food It is equivalent to a 4-star level: varied and fresh. There is soup, several hot dishes for lunch and dinner. The menu changes every day, but there is always meat, side dishes, and delicious rice. There is always a salad bar. For breakfast, there are several types of cheese, eggs, omelettes, pancakes, dry cereals, etc. There is a dessert table for lunch and dinner. Spices are available. In the pool bar, they offer a second course, cookies, or mini-pizzas for a snack. Drinks: tea, coffee (machine), beer, wine, Sprite, Coke, Fanta, raki (Turkish vodka). Drinks are available until 23:00. Everything is included in the package price. They also provide a bottle of water every day. Beach The beach is very close to the hotel. There is a highway between the hotel and the sea. The entrance to the beach is under the highway. There are sunbeds with mattresses, umbrellas, and a bar with non-alcoholic drinks for free. Beach towels are available for a fee, but nobody took them, we brought our own. Taking towels from the rooms is prohibited. The beach is sandy, but the entry into the sea is pebbly. The descent is smooth, without drops. The water was warm in June. The passage to the sea is about 1 meter wide - it is shallow and without stones, but there are slabs submerged under the water on the left and right. You can see them, but during big waves, you need to be careful not to hurt your knees while swimming. However, you can take beautiful photos on the slabs. A few meters further into the sea, the slabs end and you can swim to the left or right to neighboring beaches. In reviews, we saw complaints about trash on the beach. We noticed that trash sometimes appears on the beach after the night, but it is cleaned during the day. Overall, the beach is clean. On the left side of the beach, there is a stream. It is partially dry. There was no smell and it didn't cause any discomfort. Hotel Pool The pool was very pleasing: big, clean, warm, with a depth of 2.5 meters on one side and a shallow area of about 1.65 meters on the other side. You can swim and dive without the risk of hitting the bottom. The adult pool is adjacent to the children's pool. Next to the children's pool, there is a shaded playground with a slide and toys. There is a bar near the pool. Sunbeds, mattresses, and umbrellas are also available. Everything is free. Service The staff is very friendly. There is always someone at the reception (even at night). They solve all problems and can communicate in Turkish, Russian, and English. When we checked out early in the morning, they packed lunch boxes for us, for which we were very grateful, as the journey was long and we weren't served food on the plane. By the way, among the people who traveled with us in the transfer, only we had lunch boxes. Thanks to the staff! WiFi Wi-Fi costs $2 per day. The speed is good. The coverage is within the hotel, but it may not reach the corners (it didn't work in our corner room, but it did outside the room and in the lobby). We had some issues with the Wi-Fi - it didn't work for several hours. As they explained, the system is new and not all the bugs are fixed yet. They fixed it and added extra time for the inconvenience. Entertainment, Attractions, Shops In the evenings, there is music and children's entertainment. But overall, the hotel is for a peaceful holiday. Once a week, there is a bazaar on the nearby street (to the left), where you can buy very tasty fruits/berries/vegetables. There is also a local supermarket Migros not far from the hotel. The hotel is located in the Kestel area. If you go to the left (2 minutes), you reach the Mahmutlar district, which is considered more affluent. There are many shops, restaurants, a large Migros, etc. If you take a bus to the right, in 4 minutes you will reach the center of Alanya, where Alanya Fortress, the Red Tower, Cleopatra Beach, the cable car, museums, etc. are located. Buses (number 1 and 2) go to both Mahmutlar and Alanya. When we were there, the ticket cost 15 TL. Overall Impression Pleasant and friendly staff, good hotel infrastructure, excellent pool, sea, and food left us with very pleasant impressions of the vacation. We rate the service with a confident four. Special thanks and greetings to Adem, Hilmi, Is Akhoo, the reception administrators, restaurant staff, and chefs!
