I am sharing with you a new selection of hotels that I searched for a trip to Kuala Lumpur. This time, I am going with my son. In the first couple of days, I hope to resolve the necessary documentation issues (that is the main purpose of the trip), and the rest of the time will be devoted to relaxation. Wherever I go, I always look for hotels with a good view; I find it terribly depressing to see a wall of the neighboring building or a dirty alley from the window. Fortunately, I always manage to find at least one or two good hotels with an excellent view in any city. And Kuala Lumpur is no exception; the city views and parks here are wonderful. The image galleries and prices get refreshed with the latest updates regularly. They were last updated on May 23, 2025.

I love walking in nature. Even in a big city among skyscrapers, I always look for at least a small park. Here I was lucky, and I found a hotel next to a huge park and botanical garden, which is even visible right from the window.
I already mentioned that I love natural views. If you choose a room facing the lake and the park, then this is exactly the green view we will get. How nice it is to see the freshness and greenery after all those cars, traffic jams, and concrete!
I really liked the Caroline Astor Suite because I saw the bathtub. It is located opposite large windows, behind which is the city and the botanical garden. In such conditions, I am ready to take a bath for half a day :) In general, it is a very spacious suite with a separate living room and dressing room.
The Executive Suite is also nice, although much smaller (but still spacious) and without such an impressive bathtub. According to reviews, the rooms are indeed like in the photos, but much older, a renovation wouldn't hurt. Honestly, as many hotels as I have looked at in Kuala Lumpur, many of them are already outdated. Apparently, I'll have to come to terms with this fact.
The spa at the hotel offers massages, scrubs, baths, as well as hardware procedures. A massage is on my must-do list during the trip. The spacious gym is open all day. Of course, there is a pool, and we will definitely dive into it, especially since it's located on the roof.
There is a downside that there is no lobby lounge. It can be quite handy when, for example, you are waiting for a taxi or just want to relax with a cup of coffee.
I am really interested in trying something in every restaurant and bar, and there are eight of them here! I want to highlight The Brasserie, which has a Michelin star and combines Malaysian and European cuisines. The pool bar will surely be a hit with us as well.
My son is a sushi fan, so we'll stop by Tenshin. In fact, there are three Japanese restaurants in the hotel, each with its own specialties.
I read reviews about the breakfasts and decided that we need to get them. The selection may not be very large, but everything is delicious.
And we can also have lunch not in the restaurant or in the room, but have a picnic right in the botanical garden. Actually, they will arrange it for us, and we will just enjoy it.
You can spend an entire day in the Perdana Botanical Garden: watching birds and butterflies, flowers, sitting on the grass by the lake, having a picnic. After a stroll in the park, we will head to Independence Square, which also has things to see. There are several beautiful mosques and the Islamic Arts Museum nearby. We can reach the Menara Tower and the Petronas Twin Towers by taxi in 15-20 minutes.
I like almost everything about this hotel. Yes, there are some shortcomings in the service and it needs some repairs. Therefore, I cannot place the hotel in the first position, but I also can't put it at the last. It has its merits: the rooms are well equipped, there are several restaurants (even with a Michelin star), great views from the room and the rooftop pool, and overall, the location is fortunate.

Hotel near the Menara Tower. I love the view of the park and the proximity to both Menara and the Petronas Towers. On top of that, there is a cool spa center, gym, and an outdoor pool.
The most beautiful views open up towards the park. Skyscrapers and the Kuala Lumpur Tower (also known as Menara Tower) are also in the field of vision. Any of the rooms can have such a view, but this will need to be discussed upon checking in. In fact, the view in the other direction, towards the city, is also excellent, but in my opinion, it slightly pales in comparison to the view of the park.
I am satisfied with the rooms in this hotel, even though they are a bit outdated and worn.
I think we will choose the Horizon Club Executive Room. In the room, we will have a bed, an armchair, a writing desk, and a dressing table with a mirror for makeup, and in the bathroom - a separate shower and bathtub. Also, this room provides access to the Horizon Club lounge.
If my son were younger, we would definitely book a family room with a teepee. Kids love that.
I go to the gym three times a week and then to the sauna. Here I will be able to do that too, and also lie in the jacuzzi. There is also a swimming pool outdoors. It's not very big, but it's fine if there aren't too many people.
I liked so many procedures in the spa menu that I don't even know which one to choose. Hair mask with hot oil? Cold stone for the face? I will definitely take a relaxing massage, and then we'll see.
Our room will give us access to an exclusive lounge, where breakfast and snacks are served, as well as afternoon tea. According to reviews, this will be cheaper than buying drinks at the hotel bar.
On weekends, the hotel holds free children's activities. It's a pity it's not every day, but it's not bad. My son is 11, and these activities are still suitable for him.
The breakfast at Horizon Club is excellent. And of course, afternoon tea and snacks will not be out of place. There is also a nice terrace by the pool where you can have a snack. For dinners, we will go to the Chinese and Japanese restaurants. A bit pricey, but we can manage a couple of evenings.
It goes without saying that living near the Menara Tower, we have to go up there? My son really wants to see the city through the glass floor, and I want to as well, but I'm also scared at the same time.
We will also reach the Petronas Towers, it's about a 15-minute walk, we'll enjoy the stroll. And of course, in this part of the city, there are countless shopping malls and restaurants, the choice is large.
I liked everything and I don't even know what to add. Yes, let's keep in mind that the rooms are not new and any bad weather will disrupt plans to swim in the pool. But let's hope for the best and not focus on minor flaws.

I always look for hotels near parks, and in Kuala Lumpur, I found several. I noticed the Four Seasons because I expect first-class service from these hotels. And the location is perfect for us.
It's easy to find rooms with a good view in this hotel: just choose one of the options with a view of the park. At the same time, we will also get a side view of the towers. I like that the trees will be visible from the window, I love such a view, but the city will also be in sight.
Actually, it's hard to choose a room with a bad view here. Because even if we take a view on the opposite side, it will be an amazing panorama of the city. So it's just a matter of preference: natural landscapes or urban ones.
Rooms in calm colors, stylish and elegant. I like the junior suite. It is spacious, with a separate living room and dining table. And the windows… They are stunning, from floor to ceiling, with a panoramic view.
The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay, except for an iron (but I think it can be requested). I was a bit disappointed by the reviews about the cleaning - mold was found in the bathroom, dust on the tables. We will have to ask for additional cleaning if we find ourselves in such a situation.
I should also mention that the hotel has residences, and a large family can accommodate very comfortably here, plus there is a full kitchen and a washing machine.
The pool has its pros and cons. Its main advantage is its location on the roof and the beautiful view of the city and the Petronas Towers. It is also quite large, and there is even music playing directly in the water (which means you can hear it even underwater). But, unfortunately, the water is not heated, and in the morning, when the sun does not reach the pool, it's too cold to swim. There is another pool nearby with a jacuzzi, and it is warmer, but smaller.
I really liked the gym. It is large, well-equipped, and there is also a sauna in the locker room area. And a panoramic view of the park from the windows.
I'll definitely check out the spa. I already said that I always get a massage after a flight. Here, I probably won't be able to resist a scrub and a salt bath as well.
We will have access to the club lounge with breakfast and snacks and a discount on spa services. However, places like this often only allow children from 12 years old, so I will need to check.
We can have breakfast both in the club lounge and in the breakfast restaurant. In both cases, the breakfast will be delicious, but the selection of dishes in the main hall is larger. Dinner has also received praise in reviews. All this is in the international cuisine restaurant, which serves a buffet.
There is also a beautiful Chinese restaurant. In the lounge, there is a piano, so we can leisurely (as much as possible with my son) enjoy tea after lunch while listening to live music.
Right outside our windows, there will be the KLCC park with dancing fountains. The Petronas Towers are also very close. There are many restaurants, shopping malls (including Pavillion), and art galleries around. Next to the park, there is also an aquarium. Not the most impressive, but still interesting with a child.
Moreover, the hotel can organize various excursions around the city for us, as well as to the mountains and caves. Everything will be prepared for us, and we won't have to worry about anything at all.
The views from the hotel are simply 10 out of 5. I also really liked the spa, and the cold pool disappointed me, but only partly, because on a hot day, closer to the evening, I think the water will warm up and we will swim. Overall, I believe this hotel is suitable for us, and I will definitely keep it in mind.

The perfect hotel for lovers of pink :) It's a joke, but judging by the photos, there really is a pink glow everywhere. Well, maybe that's the hotel's gimmick. Just like the stylish rooms and the view of the Petronas Towers.
You can stay in any room and look at the towers from the pool or the restaurant. But I still want to see them from my room, so I am choosing between the Spectacular Room and the Marvelous Suite. They can also be seen from the most luxurious suite, the Extreme WOW, which even has a terrace with a private pool.
Immediately, I want to highlight the fact that the rooms are indeed spacious, and the windows in them are wide, from floor to ceiling. In the Spectacular Room, we will have two queen-size beds, a living area, separate shower and bathtub, and everything one might need in a hotel.
In the Marvelous Suite, there is one large bed and a separate living room. I truly love the design! Interesting, bright, but in moderation.
In the Extreme WOW suite, there is everything and even more. It's a pity that it is not within our budget. I would gladly admire the city from the private pool on the terrace.
And such a small detail, but when preparing the bed for sleep, the staff leaves a chocolate on the pillow for the guest. Setting aside the fact that sweets at night are unhealthy, it is very sweet and thoughtful.
Rooftop pool - I love it! Of course, you can see the twin towers beautifully from there. The gym, fortunately, is open 24 hours, so I can go at any time. There is also a spa center, and the reviews about it are excellent.
From morning to evening, the bright pan-Asian restaurant Flock is open. It uses local farm products, and the chefs cook in an open kitchen. Breakfast there is praised unanimously. There is also a Chinese restaurant, drinks and snacks in the lounge, and a cool vibrant bar by the pool.
It is quite obvious that we will take a walk to the Petronas Towers. Although they are located so close to the hotel that they can be seen from the room or the pool. Further on is the central park with singing fountains. The Menara Tower is also an easy 30-minute walk away.
Attentive staff, stunning pool with a view, stylish rooms, breakfast that I haven't tried but love already – all this makes me say “yes” to this hotel.

Another hotel near the Perdana Botanical Garden. Many room options with beautiful views, a pool with a slide, and what restaurants! I couldn't miss this hotel and included it in the selection.
There are many Lake View rooms in the hotel, and that's what I need. There are options from simple rooms to multi-room suites, all with a great view of the huge green park and lake through large windows with full glass.
I like that the rooms are spacious, each with a bathtub, toiletries, a hairdryer, an iron, and the possibility to make coffee and tea. Yes, the furniture is somewhat worn out, a renovation wouldn’t hurt. That's a downside, but not critical.
It's not very good that the windows in the room do not open. However, the view is amazing!
The hotel has a spa, and it's great. After a flight, my back and legs always hurt, so a massage will be very timely.
There is also a large gym (with a great view!) and a long outdoor pool with a children's slide. My son will surely enjoy it.
Breakfast is not included in the room rate, but it can be purchased additionally. It is said to be delicious, especially the Asian options.
In general, it's hard to stay hungry at the hotel, we will have a choice of nine restaurants and bars. I read good reviews about the Japanese restaurant; we love Japanese cuisine. After lunch, I want to have tea in the lounge. Firstly, it has a great view. Secondly, I love live music; they play piano or jazz here. We will definitely have a milkshake by the pool and coffee with croissants in the café. There are also Italian and Chinese restaurants and a grill restaurant. To be honest, I would like to try everything.
The Perdana Botanical Gardens are visible right from the window. This is a huge green area that includes a bird park, a butterfly park, a planetarium, an orchid garden and other flowers, a playground, and much more.
There is also a beautiful Islamic Arts Museum and the National Mosque nearby. We will walk to Independence Square and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. I want to stroll there both during the day and in the evening.
I like the natural view and the proximity to some attractions. The rooms, although a bit old-fashioned, are great. I hope we get lucky with the weather and can swim in the pool.

This hotel has its drawbacks, but the view of the city from the pool and the rooftop bar is definitely worth it. That's what caught my attention.
The places with the best view are the pool and the rooftop restaurant. But you can also see the city, the Menara Tower, and the Petronas Twins from the rooms if you are lucky. You just need to ensure that the room windows face the park and the tower and are on the upper floors. Otherwise, there's a risk of getting a view of the wall, which I would really like to avoid.
Let's take the Executive Deluxe Room or Studio. I am willing to pay for a beautiful view if necessary. The studio is more spacious, but both have everything you need. A strange feature: the sink is located not in the bathroom, but in the bedroom area. Apparently, this is original design. Overall, I don't see it as either a convenience or a particular problem.
Very cool rooftop pool: long, with an amazing view of the city and the Menara Tower, along it a terrace with sun loungers and a bar.
The gym doesn't have a very large selection of equipment. But it's enough for me, and a big plus is that the gym is open 24 hours.
There is one restaurant Brasserie 2 and a rooftop bar in the hotel. So the choice is small. But I don't see a big problem, because there are restaurants literally at every step nearby. We will try the food at the hotel and will definitely find places to eat outside of it.
Restaurants and shops nearby - this is great, not far from Quill City Mall Kuala Lumpur. Overall, the location is good, but not the most convenient, as it takes about 20-30 minutes to walk to the Menara Tower, which is relatively close. It is better to take a taxi to other interesting places, as I am not ready to walk for more than half an hour in the heat.
I really liked the pool and the views from there. Overall, a good hotel, but not every room has a good view and the location is not the most ideal.

I saw the infinity pool on the 29th floor and realized that this hotel would be in my selection. The floor-to-ceiling windows, from which you can see the Petronas Towers or the Menara Tower, provide an incredible view of the city, which completely convinced me.
If you want a view of the Petronas Twin Towers, it's better to book the Deluxe King Twin Tower or one of the suites. Personally, I like the view on the other side, where you can see the Menara Tower. Overall, the panorama with the skyscrapers is very cool, especially in the evening and particularly from the upper floors (from the 30th floor and above).
And of course, from the Sky bar on the 51st floor, there is such a view of the city that it just takes your breath away!
We will choose a Deluxe Twin room (with a view of the city and the Menara Tower) or a Deluxe King Twin Tower. What I like about these rooms is the large floor-to-ceiling windows, a separate round deep bathtub, a nice desk (which might come in handy for work). By the window, there is a cozy sofa with cushions - perfect for reading or sitting with a cup of coffee and a great view. By the way, there is also a coffee maker in the room, as well as a free mini-bar.
The panoramic pool on the 29th floor is something else. Stunning view of the city! Moreover, it's heated, which makes it just perfect. There's a jacuzzi pool nearby, which is also great. However, it's only accessible for guests aged 14 and older.
On the same floor, there is a gym and a space for group classes. It’s open 24/7. This is good because considering the jet lag, I will be going to bed later and will also move my evening workouts to late at night when my son is already asleep. After the workout, I can go to the Himalayan salt sauna or the aromatherapy bath. I won't be able to spend a lot of time in the spa, as children are not allowed there. But I will definitely find at least an hour for a massage.
There is a restaurant with authentic Malaysian cuisine. I like this, I love to try dishes from the region I visit, especially since I am not very familiar with the local cuisine yet. There are also restaurants serving Japanese and Italian cuisine and a bistro that is open all day.
The highlight of the hotel is, of course, the rooftop bar and restaurant on the 51st floor. Entrance is for adults only. Maybe I can drop by there for a short while in the evening, enjoy the views and have a cocktail.
The hotel is located between the Menara Tower and the Petronas Twin Towers, meaning it's roughly the same distance to walk to both. Near the "twins" is a park with dancing fountains. Not far away, there is a huge shopping center called Pavilion. In my opinion, the location is simply magnificent.
I think this hotel is ideal. At least for our requests. Next time I would like to come here alone or with a friend to spend the whole day at the spa and have fun at the rooftop bar. But we will also have a good rest here with my son.
