We often stay at this hotel. It's a wonderful place with no complaints about the service or food. When our daughter was little, she loved the kids club there. Everything is great at the Taj. Although, once I got scolded for taking a pilates mat and doing exercises on the lawn. The staff member apparently thought it would be better to do the workout indoors between the exercise equipment 😂. PS: Putin stayed at the Leela, as evidenced by the photos in the hotel lobby. He has not been to this hotel. Lavrov, our foreign minister, was at the Taj last year for the G20 summit of foreign ministers.
If you can afford this hotel, don't hesitate. It is the only place where the level of service truly matches European standards. The property has golf courses, and overall, it is very spacious, with access limited to guests and staff, so no one will bother or pester you. The beach is incredibly beautiful, with unforgettable sunsets. There are water sports activities available, such as jet ski rentals and parasailing. If you ask Pele, a local, he can guide you on how to find and enjoy these water activities. The massages on the property were not very satisfying, so we went to Swami nearby. The owner of this salon chain speaks Russian well and gives excellent massages. The food in the hotel is delicious and fresh, and they even have a restaurant with a European menu. The cleanliness and housekeeping in the rooms (we stayed in both regular rooms and bungalows) are top-notch. I love this hotel and have stayed here multiple times. Prominent guests, including presidents of many countries, have also stayed in this hotel. There is one drawback: if you don't venture beyond the gates, you won't experience the local way of life.
The choice of this hotel was not accidental, friends recommended it. The room was simply a "fairytale", modern, comfortable, and in excellent condition, with all the furniture in light tones, with no traces of previous guests (a special "plus" for the bed for our sunburned backs). The room was cleaned promptly and of high quality, and the hotel staff did not disturb us, everything was done in our absence. I always pay close attention to the bathroom when choosing hotels, and here it gets 100 points: a fresh aroma, all the toiletries were as they should be, even toothpaste and toothbrushes. The white towels and robes were changed every day. Everything worked properly. There was an air conditioner in the room; free and, most importantly, uninterrupted Wi-Fi, and all the appliances did not have any malfunctions, which was especially pleasing. The minibar was replenished every day (my husband was delighted). In the evening, it was particularly pleasant to relax in the room, with excellent sound insulation, no city noise or noisy neighbors could be heard. For relaxation and rejuvenation, the hotel offers a pool, spa salon, and fitness center. We recommend everyone to stay here specifically!
