During my recent visit to the doctor, after undergoing tests, we concluded that it was time for me to have additional examinations. My doctor, a very nice woman, found a fantastic clinic where I will be able to get help. It is located in the city of Brussels, but I was immediately warned that the trip would not be quick. Most likely, I will stay there for at least a month. I don’t have anyone there, so I needed to find suitable accommodation. In different trips, I have a few important criteria: a spacious and cozy room, the possibility of having breakfast, and being in close proximity to the place I need to go for procedures. I prepared a selection of 10 hotels near the Saint-Jean Hospital clinic. Take note! The image galleries and prices get refreshed with the latest updates regularly. They were last updated on May 23, 2025.

Here is another suitable 3-star hotel for me. It is located in the heart of Brussels. Nearby, there is the Belgian Comic Strip Center, St. Michael's Cathedral, and the Grand Place square, which is nice for a stroll. In general, there are very pleasant streets here.
It's 150 meters from here to the medical center. Just cross the road, and there is the hospital. That's so nice. If I still want to take a walk, I can go out early and stroll in the park across from the hotel. It's more than enough. Well, if the weather is bad, I will take an umbrella at the reception. It's great that I won't have to think about public transport or taxis here.
The hotel has a restaurant that serves breakfast in a buffet format. There is always fresh cheese, cold cuts, eggs, omelets, a large selection of freshly baked bread, as well as juices, coffee, and tea. I think I will definitely be able to fill up there. They also have a small bar where you can always make yourself coffee and grab a treat. And I am so glad that this time I won't have to worry about whether the reception desk is open, because it is 24/7 at this place. No need to adjust my flights to the hotel’s working hours.
The rooms here are quite compact: they accommodate a bed, a wardrobe, a small workspace that I can use, since there is no conference room in this hotel where I could work. The only thing is to ask them about the storage room, because I don't understand yet where I will put my things. In the bathroom, there is a shower cabin. Of course, I would have liked a luxurious bathtub, but it is what it is. And yes, of course, there is an air conditioner here, which I will be using, as my trip falls during the hottest time.

Here is another decent option for me - a three-star hotel near the "Botanic" park. Within walking distance, there is a subway station, bus stops, and the train station is not far away. We can think about a trip for the weekend. It's also very great that it takes only 15 minutes to get to the airport from here. There won’t be a tiring long journey.
The medical center where I will undergo an examination is 350 meters away. It seems like a short distance, but I looked at the map, and I will have to cross two busy streets and two avenues. Well, in the morning, there might not be so many people and cars, and it will be a calm walk. As an option, I could call a taxi and get there in 5 minutes. I’m not considering public transport here, because it's probably easier to walk than to take the morning transport.
This hotel has an elevator, cool because even if they put me on the 3rd or 4th floor, I wouldn't want to walk. And, finally, I found a place with luggage storage service. I can check it in and not see this suitcase for at least a while. They also have a "wake-up call" service. Considering that I sleep like a goddess, you can hardly wake me up, and I might not respond to my phone alarm. I will ask to be woken up at 8 in the morning so that I have time to have breakfast and calmly get to my treatments.
I studied the rooms and chose the representative deluxe double. It is a spacious room where there will be a nice double bed with orthopedic mattresses and pillows. There is also its own bathroom and a large shower. There is a vanity where I can get ready, air conditioning, a hairdryer, and as a bonus, they will provide a terry robe and slippers. That's so nice! In this room, I think I will be very comfortable.

I want to tell you about another suitable hotel for me, which operates on the "bed and breakfast" principle. It is also located near the city park and within walking distance of the metro station. Nearby are the Royal Gallery of Saint Hubert and the Rene Magritte Museum, which I have already planned to visit this coming weekend.
But here I have to think about whether I will walk or call a taxi. I need to walk 500 meters along the busy avenue to my hospital. Overall, I can probably walk. But if necessary, I can call a taxi and get to my destination in 3 minutes. Public transport also runs here; I can get there by tram in just 7 minutes. And it's great that there are many good places to stay near the hospital, and I don't have to spend hours getting there.
Here is a hotel where I don't have to worry about the temperature, there is heating everywhere. It's convenient if there are cold nights! I won't have to walk! Also, there is an elevator here, and if I'm placed above the third floor, I won't be upset and will gladly use it. Guests also talk about good Wi-Fi. This is very important to me because work will always be with me.
And here they provide small comfortable rooms, which have a double bed and a bedside table with an unusual lamp. In general, I've never seen anything like it. It seems to me that it creates some additional coziness. There is also a private bathroom, again a shower, no bathtub. I found a little corner with a mirror. Given that I grew up in a large house, it might be difficult for me to squeeze into 15 sq. m now.

As you already understood, there are many three-star hotels in this area. Here is another one of them. It is located a 10-minute walk from the legendary Grand Place, which I am so eager to visit. Also within walking distance, there are many cafes, restaurants, and shopping centers where I can buy something and simply enjoy a pleasant stroll.
This hotel is located 700 meters from my medical center. If I consider walking in the morning, it will take me 9 minutes to get there, 5 of which I will spend walking past the botanical garden and admiring the plants. Cool! Well, if it rains, I can call a taxi, and I will be there in 3 minutes. Public transport here does not offer anything, so I will have to make do with these two options.
There is a restaurant here that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner from a menu featuring international cuisine, where anyone can find a familiar dish. There is also a car rental service here. I might consider a trip somewhere for the weekend and use it. The presence of a laundry service is simply amazing, and that's really cool! I wouldn't want to search for it myself or do the laundry myself. Also, if I need it, there is a business center here! That's really great!
Finally, I found the large rooms! They are a whole 40 sq. m, and they will be just for me! There is a huge bed, a TV, an air conditioner, a wardrobe, a hallway, and a bathroom. Finally, with a proper bathtub where I can lie down and relax in the evenings. Another nice addition was that there is a kettle, mugs, and a set of tea. In the evenings, I will probably use this after a warm bath.

I was very struck by the abundance of greenery! Here I noted the presence of a cool well-maintained garden that you can access and stroll through at any time. It is located on the hotel grounds, and it is safe. Also nearby are a shopping center, the Grand Place, the Manneken Pis statue, and the Belgian Comic Strip Center. In general, stroll, stroll, and stroll some more! All of this will uplift my mood, which is very important for me lately.
Here, perhaps, I am looking forward to the most pleasant morning walk. I will need to cross the entire Brussels Botanical Garden, the lake that is located in it, and walk literally along the avenue to reach the hospital. The total distance is 850 meters. I am fine with that, especially since most of the walk will be so enjoyable. But if I happen to oversleep, or if I feel too lazy to walk in the morning, I can call a taxi and reach my clinic in 4 minutes. Or I can take the bus and get to the place in 10 minutes.
I am so glad that there is a spa here! I will immediately go for a restorative massage program, and then I can go to the sauna or the Turkish bath, or I can choose not to choose and try everything! There is also a fitness center where I can go for stretching; it really helps me recover my strength. I should also mention the availability of free parking for guests, and if I do decide to rent a car, there will be somewhere to park it. And let me tell you about breakfast: it is served in a buffet format, very delicious, judging by the photos. In the lounge bar, you can have dinner, enjoy a couple of cocktails, and on weekends, there are parties or live music there.
This suite is so cool! It consists of a bedroom and a lounge area with a sofa and poufs. There is also a bathroom with a bathtub! And a slightly sloped attic as well. I love it so much; it creates an additional coziness. I will also note the unusual round windows. And the design is really top-notch! The layout looks very interesting in the photos. I think I will be very comfortable there. I can store my things in the luggage room, and I will have my own little studio! Moreover, there is a coffee machine, and I don't even have to go down to the Lounge Bar to make myself a cup of coffee. How cool is that!

I want to tell you about another 3-star hotel that is located near my medical center. It is in a high-rise building, about a kilometer from the city center, which is great for me! There is an elevator, so you don't have to worry about what floor you'll be on. There is a restaurant where I can have a hearty breakfast, and a laundry service. Now, I will tell you more details.
The distance to my hospital is less than a kilometer. Here you need to take a walk past the botanical garden, cross a few avenues. The journey will take, as I understood, about 11 minutes. If the weather is nice, then why not. If the weather is bad, then I can call a taxi and be there in less than 5 minutes. I can also take public transport. The 93 bus runs here, which will take me right to the medical center gates. It's very convenient that there are options, I will decide which one to use already on the spot.
It’s so interesting that there is a concierge service at the reception that will help me organize my weekend, rent a car, tell me where to go and where I can spend my time interestingly. Very cool! I will definitely turn to them because I’m not sure I can find the strength to organize leisure for 3 weekends by myself. Also, here I can order breakfast in the room, or go to the restaurant and choose from the menu. Or during the day, I can grab a snack at the snack bar, for example, french fries with a cheeseburger and a drink. I appreciated the daily cleaning of the room. There is also a spa salon here, where I will definitely go for a chocolate wrap. I really want to relax. I think it will work out there.
I have chosen a room in the "junior suite" category with an area of 35 sq. m. It has a large king-size double bed, a dressing table, a mirror — I will be able to get ready properly in the mornings. There will also be a television, air conditioning, as well as a private bathroom which has a bathtub, and that is very important to me. I will take my belongings to the storage room.

Here is another great 4-star hotel. It is located just a 3-minute walk from the Rojié square and the central street Rue de Név, where there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and pubs, where I can spend time and meet someone on weekends or in the evenings. By the way, the hotel has just been renovated. And that is just awesome! I don't like old places.
The distance from the hotel to my clinic is 1.2 km. Actually, it's not that far when you convert it to time — it's only 15 minutes and it's great that I will be walking not along a noisy road, but through the park and botanical garden. If the weather is nice, I will definitely go for a walk. But if I suddenly don't feel like doing it, I can always take bus number 6. The stop is right in front of the hotel and in 10 minutes I'll be there. Or I can take a taxi, the ride will take about 5 minutes.
For breakfast, they always serve a generous buffet here, with plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables, cuts, omelets, pancakes, and coffee. This hotel has a great feature, like the game room. I explored it in detail and was simply thrilled. Can you imagine, there is foosball, a dartboard, and even a virtual reality zone. I've never seen anything like this before. I would also go to the spa, I love the Turkish hammam - it's already scheduled in my program. You can rent a car for trips. And for those into sports, there is a gym available. It's really cool! There's plenty to do. I'm happy!
There is a very large selection of rooms: from standard economy to suites. Of course, I chose a suite for myself for the duration of one month. It will be two rooms: a bedroom and a living room. The bedroom has a huge bed, a TV, an air conditioner, a living room, and a table where I can have a snack. By the way, there is a room service food delivery option here. There will also be a workspace, a small sofa, and a TV. I appreciated the spacious bathroom, which, by the way, has both a bathtub and a shower cabin. This is just great! The first place where I encountered this in Brussels.

This 3-star hotel is located in the heart of Brussels next to the botanical garden. Here you can try most types of Belgian beer at the bar. You can also hold a conference in their large auditoriums. Interesting!
Having looked at the maps, I realized that the distance here is about a kilometer, and my morning walk will go right through the botanical garden and will take about 15 minutes. Overall, it's fine, but if I happen to oversleep, I can use public transport and be there in 10 minutes; bus No. 2 runs here. Or I can call a taxi, which will get me there in just 5 minutes. That works.
Here is a cool shared lounge area for relaxation, where tourists gather in the evening. There is also a game room here, but it is much simpler than in the previous option. There's a pool table, a television, and a small bar. Breakfast is served with American dishes from the menu. And you can always stop by the snack bar for snacks and drinks.
The rooms here are small, they accommodate a bed, a small bedside table, a TV with air conditioning. But as for the bathroom — it is just wonderful! Here is luxurious black tile, a huge bathtub, a sink, and a toilet. For this, I am ready to squeeze in.

This is a small hotel located in a business center building in the very heart of Brussels. Everything here is quite simple, but functional. I would highlight it as the most budget-friendly option among all that I have mentioned.
However — this is the most remote option in the entire selection. It takes 17 minutes to walk to my hospital along the avenue. Well, basically, I have wireless headphones with me, I can easily listen to some video training or turn on my favorite playlist, why not? I will be sitting at the hospital all day, and I need to compensate for that somehow. But here, if necessary, I can call a taxi and be there in 10 minutes or take bus number 6, which takes 15 minutes. In good weather, it's easier to take a stroll than to use public transport.
There is a coffee shop on the hotel premises with decent desserts and a small restaurant where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available for an additional fee. They offer international cuisine, and the menu is quite good. I will definitely find something to snack on here. The 24-hour front desk is also very convenient for me. I still haven't figured out which flight would be more convenient for me. And I guess it will be a night flight after all. I liked that I can rent a bicycle. Cool. I will combine walks.
Guests are offered quite small rooms with a double bed and a small bathroom. Of course, there is a shower cabin here, not a bathtub, and a toilet. Living like this for a month will be uncomfortable for me. But this option will definitely suit someone!

I want to start the list with a four-star hotel located next to a beautiful botanical garden! I would enjoy walking there in the evenings. And on weekends, it’s convenient to explore the city, as there is a metro station and a train station nearby.
This hotel is just 400 meters from my clinic, and I will probably walk, it's great to take a stroll in the morning and breathe in the fresh air. A nice idea, especially when you will be sitting in the hospital walls all day. Well, if bad weather is expected, there is public transport that stops just a minute's walk away.
This hotel has a restaurant where I can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Very convenient. There is such a variety: they serve French, local, and continental cuisines. In the mornings, they set up a buffet, and I can grab whatever I want. Lunch and dinner are offered from the menu, and I can ask the waiters for advice. Cool! There's also a spacious, bright gym with panoramic windows overlooking the city. I look forward to going there to work out on weekends when I finally have time and energy for it. I also noticed that there's a conference room that I can use. No one knows when colleagues will want to get in touch with me to coordinate projects. So I always take my laptop on the road.
Let's now talk about accommodation, as it is very important, because I am going for at least three weeks, and possibly longer. Here they offer rooms of a small size, up to 35 sq. m, which can accommodate a double bed, a shower with a bathroom, and a small hallway. However, the presence of the latter did not reassure me that I would be able to store my suitcases there. So I need to think about whether I am ready to squeeze into such a space.
